Well, much has happened since my last entry. We were having trouble moving the ARF auditing project along with the OASIS WSDM WEF concept, so we did an about-face in August and went with the Open Group’s XDAS standard. We started a project on called OpenXDAS, which has had 4 releases to date.

The latest release of OpenXDAS contains cross-platform, C-Language source code and installers for Windows and Linux (RH/SuSE), as well as Java client source code. The project is functionally adequate now, but needs features. We’ll be adding those over the next few months.

I’ve also published an article in Free Software Magazine on OpenXDAS. It should be published within the month. I’ll post again when it’s available.
